On the 19th March, after waiting 2 months of Dogs Australia to add the Dam of Merit (DOM) award to its database, Lyra was awarded Dam of Merit. She is the first Basenji to be awarded this title. The award, which was introduced on the 1 January 2025, recognises bitches who have at least 5 Champion progeny with at least one of these titles being awarded after the implementation date of 1 January 2025. It was Harriet, Ch Tambuzi Sideslip, awarded her Champion Title on the 13 January 2025 who qualified Lyra for this award. Harriet's title took Lyra Champion Progeny to 10, double the amount required for the award including:
